PROJECT NAME: Blaine Eye Clinic
LOCATION: 12170 Aberdeen Street • Blaine, MN 55434
COMPANY ROLE: General Contractor. Cost-Plus Fee basis, design interface between architect and optometric designer.
The Blaine Eye Clinic decided to relocate its operation into a larger existing one level building covering about 6,600 square feet. The project was a complete do-over involving new plumbing, walls, ceilings, electrical and HVAC systems, and all new finishes. The project included unique custom lighting controls in exam rooms, as well as custom cabinetry throughout. The entire building was fitted with all new LED recessed lights, providing another element of GREEN and the related energy savings.
In addition to its first class interior look, the exterior involved changes as well. New roof lines, soffits, all new commercial-grade windows and entrances, and stucco detailing were just some of the improvements made outside.
Improved efficiency, flow, increase in volume, and a beautiful up-to-date look are just a few of the benefits received from the project.
PROJECT NAME: Hayford Ford
LOCATION: 1330 301st Ave. NE • Isanti, MN 55040
COMPANY ROLE: General Contractor – Design Build, Cost-Plus Fee basis.
Hayford Ford was previously located in another facility and chose to relocate to position business in a spot with greater visibility and traffic. The process involved moving quickly and fast-tracking construction in order to get them out of their current location. From start of excavation to Certificate of Occupancy, the project length was an amazing 15 weeks.
The facility was 25,200 square feet in size and constructed of pre-cast concrete wall panels. The interior boasts state of the art hoists and equipment in the thirteen service bays and Quick Lane, as well as a very attractive showroom, offices and waiting area. Its unique epoxy floors throughout the service areas and showroom are especially eye-catching.
